Facebook has its own keyboard shortcuts with which you can easily access the main sections of your facebook account like profile, home, recent messages etc. This works by default and you can use them from your windows desktop keyboard.

The operation varies depending on the browser you use. For example, in Firefox you should also press Shift while in IE you have to press Enter after using these shortcuts:

•      ALT + 0 – Loads the Help Center
•      ALT + 1 – Take your Homepage Facebook
•      ALT + 2 – Show your Profile
•      ALT + 3 – Recent Friendship Requests
