1. Tell me about yourself
The most interviewers want to know your own personnel status as he totally new to you.
So you need to have a short statement prepared in your mind, tell about your self
Name, short address, what you currently doing, what you have achieved in your past career. But keep in mind never exaggerate. Talk about extra activities that you have done well at your College.
2. Why should we employ you?
This question is second largest question asked in interview.
For this question, your answer should contain strengths that you feel are relevant to the Job. Your can modify your answer in your way. You can tell them,
I have good co-ordination skills
Good analytical skills
I can motivate your team mates as well as customers
I have the experience and knowledge relevant to this job (here, give appropriate details)
3. Do You Have Offers From Other Companies?
If you think this is a simple question then you are wrong. Obviously, you must have applied to
Other companies if you are looking for a job or would have some offers from other companies already.
Therefore, do not lie that you have not. In this question, interviewer wants to check you honesty.
On the other hand, he or she may also be trying to find out how focused you are – are you applying
Randomly, or is there a well planned strategy?
4. a) what salary are you expecting?
Now toward ending of your interview yet another widely asked question is what salary are you expecting?
So, do not get into figures. Even if they forced, you could say that it all depends on the job, and would like to talk about it after a job offer.
In case you are asked this question in your latter interviews, give a direct answer. Do not sound apologetic while quoting the figure you have in mind.
b) How much do you think you are worth?
If you have done your homework about the market value of the job and if you think you deserve some extra money than market value do not hesitate.
5. What do you know about our company?
Be careful in this question. Give the reported facts and gathered information about company. Do not give your opinions about the company.
Why should we choose you over someone else?
This question generally asked to the fresher or average candidates, so talk clearly about problems that you have solved in you college or project team and highlight your co-ordination, analytical thinking etc. do not get into details.
Interviewers usually give you an opportunity to ask questions.
You should ask question like.
1) Tell me about your company
2) What kind of training and learning can I expect in your company?
3) What is the long-term vision of your company? Etc.
The basis on which a fresher will be judged is academic background, family background,
And interest.
